Quantity Take Off Surveyor

What we're looking for:

A motivated and driven individual with a strong work ethic, proficient at synthesizing complex or diverse information and collecting / researching data.  A true professional who speaks clearly and persuasively in both positive and negative situations, listens and seeks clarification, responds well to questions, participates in meetings, and applies feedback to improve performance.  An individual with the ability to use intuition and experience to complement data and looks for ways to improve / promote quality.  Someone who monitors their own work to ensure quality and demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in their work.  The successful candidate will use time efficiently, set individual goals in alignment with departmental objectives, have strong prioritizing skills and excel at planning work activities.

What you can expect:

The Quantity Take Off Surveyor will report directly to the General Manager in a role that provides direct support to the Sales team.  The successful candidate will prepare bids for various construction projects located across Canada by working closing with the Outside Sales Reps and Inside Sales Reps.   The primary function of this role is to assist in preparing documentation for the submission of pricing to General Contractors and Customer, mainly by providing accurate and timely quantity take-offs on drawings / plans to all Sales team members on a daily basis.

Delivery Driver

What we're looking for:

A physically fit (ability to list up to 50lbs), experienced driver, with a clean driver abstract and minimum G class license.  DZ license not required but would be a considerable asset, as would an understanding of CVOR and legal requirements applicable to completing / maintaining daily driver’s logs.  Must be comfortable driving pick-up trucks, vans, and straight trucks and have experience operating vehicles with trailers or other attachments.

The successful candidate will be extremely reliable and have a can-do attitude.  We value reliability, drive, & dedication over experience; however, the following training / experience would be considered an asset:

  • WHMIS Certification
  • MOL Health & Safety Awareness in 4 Steps
  • Propane & Electrical Safety Awareness
  • Fork Lift Certification
  • DZ License
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods

What you can expect:

The Delivery Driver reports directly to the Shop Controller and plays a key role in equipping out field crews with the tools, materials, and equipment they need to perform our installations.  Main duties include reporting to our shop daily, picking and loading orders, delivering orders to site in a timely manner, and performing equipment pick-ups.  Good communication and organization skills are required.
